Assessment of Students’ Satisfaction with Quality of Off Campus Students Lodges in Malete, Kwara State, Nigeria
Understanding the level of students’ satisfaction with the quality of off campus lodges they stay is highly
valuable for enhancing academic wellbeing and productivity. This study assesses the level of satisfaction of students’
lodges in Malete Community, where the Kwara State University is located. A total of 240 students were selected for this
study, using random sampling method to conduct oral interviews and distribution of questionnaires to selected
respondents in selected lodges.
An Evaluation on the Application of Sustainable Waste Management Principles on Construction Sites in Jimeta-Yola, Nigeria
Construction plays a crucial role in developing a country's infrastructure, yet the industry faces significant
challenges in managing construction material waste, predominantly generated from the demolition of structures. This
waste impacts project costs, profitability, and the environment. Common waste materials include concrete, sand,
aggregates, steel, bricks, glass, electrical fixtures, and tiles, with less common materials like paints, PVC pipes, and
glass fixtures also affecting profitability.
Assessing the Impact of Sustainable Roof Designs on Rain Water Harvesting and Resource Conservation in Yunusari, Yobe State
This study investigates the effect of roof design on rainwater harvesting in rural Toshia, Yunusari
Local Government, Yobe State. Using cluster sampling, 40 households were randomly selected from four
streets (A-D). Field observations, questionnaires, and rainfall data analysis revealed that sustainable roof
designs significantly impact rainwater harvesting potential.

Architecture is a comprehensive and multidimensional discipline that incorporates diverse components,
each of which holds significant importance in influencing the design and operational aspects of a structure. These
fundamental elements serve as the foundational constituents of architectural design, significantly contributing to the
overall visual appeal, functional efficiency, and user engagement of a building.
