environment. In recent times, global warming has led to climate change resulting in increased frequency of flooding.

This study aimed to examine building collapses in Nigeria, focusing on Jos metropolis in Plateau State as a
case study. The specific objectives were to investigate the Socio-Economic and Environmental Impact of building
collapses in Jos metropolis, identify the primary causes, evaluate the supervisions rated factors which has
contributed to building collapse in Jos metropolis, Plateau State, and recommend solutions to reduce or eliminate
such incidents.

This article presents a comprehensive narrative review exploring the intricate relationship between
architecture, social housing, and Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG-11) in Nigeria. The narrative review method
was chosen for its ability to provide a broad, in-depth analysis by synthesising and critically evaluating existing
literature.
